We highly recommend using products that are specially formulated to be compatible with your spray tan! These products are developed intentionally to prep your skin before your tan, maintain your tan after your appointment and even extend and refresh a fading tan. We carry Nuda and Sjolie product options in the salon and are happy to give you personalized recommendations based on your tanning needs!

If you choose to use commercially available products please stick to the following products for your cleansers, moisturizers and sunscreens:

Aveeno: Daily Moisturizing Lotion

Hempz: Original Body Lotion

Cerave: Moisturizing Cream

Vaseline: Cocoa Radiant (Brown bottle)

Vaseline: Aloe Soothe (Green bottle)

Cetaphil: Moisturizing Body Wash

Aveeno: Daily Moisturizing Body Wash

Native: Body Wash (Any of their options)

Spray Tan Friendly Sunscreens

Sun Bum: Moisturizing Sunscreen Lotion SPF 50

Coola: Hydrating Sunscreen Lotion

Supergoop: Play SPF 50 or Unseen Sunscreen

*Do not use spray sunscreens on your spray tan- only lotions!

Please avoid all of the following prior to and especially after your spray tan:

• Avoid Dove, Olay, Nivea, Suave, Irish Spring, and Bath and Body Works brand Cleansers, Moisturizers and Deodorants

• Avoid Tree Hut Scrubs-no oil based scrubs for pre-tan exfoliation-just use an exfoliation mitt or loofah if you don’t have the Sjolie or Nuda Scrubs.

• Avoid Razors with moisture strips

• Avoid Spray Sunscreens

• Avoid Retinol and acne Products (there are options if you are a retinol user-please ask)
